Example
A 12-mile one-way commute (24 miles round trip), 5 days a week, in a car getting 32 MPG with gas at $3.55/gallon: weekly miles = 120, weekly fuel = 120 ÷ 32 = 3.75 gallons, weekly cost ≈ $13.31 — about $57.65/month or $692/year.
